A MAN has been shot dead by US police, and another man has
died in hospital after his face was half eaten by a naked man.
The horror began on Saturday afternoon local time when
gunshots were heard on an off-ramp of a Miami Causeway.
According to police sources, a roadside-assistance truck
driver saw a naked man chewing on another man's face and shouted on his
loudspeaker for him to back away. A woman also saw the incident and flagged
down a police officer.
The officer, who has not been identified, approached and,
seeing what was happening, also ordered the naked man to back away. When he
continued the assault, the officer shot him, police sources said.
The attacker did not stop after being shot and the officer
continued to shoot, killing the naked man.
The other man was taken to hospital with critical injuries,
according to police the injured man died in hospital.

As if yesterday's zombie hysteria wasn't enough, it looks
like we've got another one on our hands. Two in a matter of days seems like a
bit of a trend, don't you think? From the Baltimore Sun:
A 21-year-old Morgan State University student told
investigators that he ate the heart and portions of the brain of a man whose
dismembered remains were found in his Joppa home, according to a grisly account
from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
The case comes on the heels of shocking incidents in cities
like Miami, where a naked man believed to be high on bath salts ate another
man's face, and New Jersey, where a man disemboweled himself and reportedly
threw his intestines at police officers.

Wayne Carter, 44, remains in critical condition at
Hackensack University Medical Center recovering from his partial
disembowelment.
A man who stabbed himself and threw pieces of his skin and
intestines at police officers trying to subdue him was hospitalized in critical
condition on Monday, authorities said.
Officers encountered 43-year-old Wayne Carter on Sunday
morning when they responded to reports of a madman.
Two officers kicked in the door and saw Carter in a corner,
holding a knife in his hand, police said. Carter, ignoring the officers’ orders
to drop the knife, stood up and stabbed himself at least 40 times in the
abdomen, legs and neck, they said.
Carter yelled at the officers and took an aggressive stance,
and the officers used pepper sprat in a bid to subdue him,but it had no effect.
Police said that Carter then cut off pieces of his skin and
intestines and threw them at the officers.
The officers decided to retreat and call in the Bergen
County SWAT team, Heinemann said. Carter finally was restrained and was taken
to a hospital just before midnight.
No charges have been filed because of the unusual nature of
the case, Heinemann said. He said he believes that drug use or mental illness
may have contributed to Carter’s behavior, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

A Louisiana man is in custody after biting the face off of
another man. This latest "zombie" crime is at least the fourth
reported cannibalistic incident since a Florida man stripped naked and chewed
80% of the face off a homeless victim.
Law Enforcement officials in Scott, Lousiana, confirmed that
Car Jacquneaux, 43, attacked an unnamed victim and, using his teeth, tore parts
of the man’s face off.
“During the attack, the suspect bit a chunk of the victim’s
face,” said assistant police chief Kert Thomas.
The Louisiana victim is currently under medical supervision
and is expected to recover.
